Background: Joan Tibor’s real-life experience in the problems of retail transactional fraud gave her insight into future prevention. In the 1990’s, Joan was fighting fraud while others didn’t know it existed; realizing the old ways wouldn’t work, she began developing ideas for the future. Living the American dream, she developed methods and systems being utilized today to prevent fraud.
